Pois bem. Os agricultores do Piauí que receberam as tais cisternas plásticas para enfrentar a seca reclamam que o material está deformando por não suportar o calor do sertão. As informações são do G1.
Depois de muito tempo de espera, a agricultora Francisca Rodrigues ganhou a cisterna de polietileno, um tipo de material plástico.
O reservatório foi doado pelo Programa Água para Todos, do governo federal. Mas o presente decepcionou. “Antes de colocar água, ela começou a afundar”, diz.
No assentamento, que fica no município de Paulistana, foram instaladas 27 cisternas, mas 17 delas foram trocadas por apresentar defeito.
A cisterna nova que a agricultora Lucílvia Rodrigues recebeu também apresentou deformação. Muitas cisternas do município estão com a parte de cima do reservatório deformada e outras tiveram rachaduras.
O agricultor Francisco Bertoldo, que recebeu uma cisterna com defeito, recusou a troca e fez um empréstimo no banco para construir um reservatório de placas de cimento.
Em nota, a Acqualimp, empresa que fabrica as cisternas, informou que já foram entregues 20 mil cisternas para o governo federal e que os reservatórios que apresentaram o defeito foram substituídos imediatamente.
Em março, o Globo Rural mostrou o drama de agricultores de Pernambuco. No município de Cedro, a cisterna do agricultor Jacinto do Nascimento afundou e precisou ser trocada. Arlindo Mariano teve o mesmo problema.
